2010 Mind The Gap Whip Comp & 50 lap Milk race

Sat 13th March - Ride day & whip comp

Where: Exton’s farm, Waipuna Road, Te Kawata

Time: From about lunch time until dark

Track: Stack loads of man made gaps of all sizes, steel ramp too

Entry: $30 (as a donation to help keep the machinery up and running and grooming)

Prizes for:

  • Best whip
  • Best Junior whip
  • Best two man train
  • Best whip by a guy who doesn’t know how to, or cant whip (you know who you are)
  • Best scrub
  • Best front fender slap

Get out there and throw your biggest pancake. Whips judged on upside downess, backwardness, use of the track and the amount of panic rev that you give to bring her back.

Best whip will be a rider vs. rider knock out series until we have two finalists and then a winner. All other categories will be judged during a jam session.

Bring some meat and drinks for a BBQ in the evening

Sun 14th March – 50 lap fancy dress milk race

Where: Mt Richmond RC track, Otahuhu, Auckland (to be confirmed)

Time: 1pm

Safety wear: Fancy dress or no ride

Entry $10 – to go into the total prize pool which will be divided up and given to the prize winners

Prizes for:

  • Winning the race – awarded the Milk race trophy
  • Best chunk
  • Best chunder on fellow competitor(s)
  • Best spew while riding
  • Thickest density chunk
  • Best costume

Race rules:

  • Bikes must be 90cc and under, pit bikes, scooters….etc
  • Everyone has to bring 2 x 2 litre bottles of milk, one flavoured and one plain milk (put your name on your bottles so we can see who’s finished and if anyone is cheating by throwing away milk)
  • Once you have finished each bottle of milk you have to give it to the lap scorer so they can cross you off as finished.
  • The lap scorer will hold up a card showing how many laps the lead rider has done, you have to of finished and handed in your two bottles of milk to the lap scorer by the time the leader has done 50 laps, from there your position is decided by how many laps you have completed.
  • Any riders with bike failures or do not finish their milk in time must continue and drink their full 4 litres of milk, failing to do so will result in getting cained by eggs and flour from spectators followed by public humiliation on www.holeshot.co.nz
